📿 Meet Your Teachers

Yogic Spirits was founded by Viresh and Ivan, two teachers with complementary backgrounds who share a common vision: making authentic yoga accessible, welcoming, and meaningful.Together, they combine more than 3,000 hours of certified yoga training, ongoing higher education in yoga, and years of teaching experience.

🇮🇳 Viresh – Traditional Yoga from India
Born and raised in Karnataka, India, Viresh brings a direct connection to the culture and traditions from which yoga emerged. He holds certifications in Hatha Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga Pilates, Ayurveda, Nutrition, Deep Tissue Massage, and Fascia Release Therapy.

He is currently pursuing both a Master's Degree and a PhD in Yoga, continuing to deepen his knowledge through advanced study and research.

His classes blend traditional teachings with modern understanding of movement, helping students develop strength, mobility, awareness, and inner balance.

🇨🇭 Ivan – Yoga Philosophy & Modern Accessibility Alongside his yoga teaching, Ivan studies South Asian Studies at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), specializing in Sanskrit, Indian History and Hinduism. His academic work allows him to explore yoga not only as a physical practice but also through its historical, philosophical, and cultural foundations.

Certified in Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Sound Healing, and Advanced Yogic Studies, he is passionate about making yoga approachable for modern practitioners while remaining connected to its traditional roots.

He is also available to answer any of your questions about the studio and classes.
