More Than a Yoga Workshop

This immersion is designed for yoga students, teachers, and seekers who wish to go beyond the physical practice and discover the deeper roots of yoga. You will explore how Hanuman embodies qualities that remain profoundly relevant today: Courage in the face of difficulty • Strength without ego • Devotion and trust • Discipline and perseverance • Humility despite great power • Selfless service • Faith in our own potential. No previous knowledge of Sanskrit, Indian philosophy, or advanced yoga postures is required.

What You Will Experience

Traditional Hatha Yoga Inspired by Hanuman. We begin the day with a dynamic traditional Hatha Yoga practice inspired by Hanuman. Through strength, balance, heart opening, breath, and mindful movement, we will cultivate courage, stability, devotion, and inner power. We will also explore Mudgar Yoga variations and Hanuman Dand, traditional Indian strength practices that develop power, mobility, coordination, and discipline.

The Stories of Hanuman

Discover some of the most meaningful stories connected to Hanuman, including:

• His divine birth and childhood
• Mistaking the sun for a mango
• Becoming the student of Surya
• Meeting Rama
• His great leap toward Lanka
• His encounter with Sita
• Carrying the Sanjivani mountain

Rather than simply retelling these stories, we will explore the philosophical and symbolic meaning behind them and what they can teach us today.

Yoga Philosophy & Symbolism

Hanuman is far more than a symbol of physical strength. We will explore his connection with:

Bhakti — devotion
• Seva — selfless service
• Śraddhā — faith
• Tapas — discipline
• Dharma — right action

Together, we will reflect on what it means to act with strength while remaining humble, to serve without expectation, and to move through challenges with courage and trust.

Sanskrit, Mantra & Devotional Practice

Discover the pronunciation and meaning of important Sanskrit names, terms, and mantras connected to Hanuman.

We will explore devotional chanting and introduce elements of the Hanuman Cālīsā, allowing mantra to be experienced not simply as sound, but as a practice of attention, emotion, and devotion.

No previous Sanskrit or chanting experience is necessary.

Practice the Stories Through the Body

In our āsana exploration, we will work with Hanumanāsana and its preparations, but the session goes far beyond the splits.

We will also explore Hanuman-inspired postures and movements such as: Anjaneyāsana, Hanuman Dands, Strength and mobility variations, Hip-opening preparations, Hamstring work, Stability and alignment, Progressive variations adapted to different bodies.

The objective is never to force a final posture.Instead, we explore the journey of the posture, its symbolism, and the physical qualities needed to approach it safely and intelligently.

A Shared Vegan Indian Lunch

Food is an important part of our immersion days.

At midday, we gather around the table for a homemade vegan Indian lunch, shared in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

It is a moment to rest, connect with the group, exchange experiences, and enjoy another dimension of Indian culture before continuing the afternoon practices.

Lunch is included in the price.

• Yoga practitioners of different levels
• Yoga teachers
